At St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Norton, there is one award that holds a particularly special place in the hearts of our school community: the Spirit of St Joseph’s Award.
When staff came together to reflect on who truly embodies the values and ethos of St Joseph’s, one person’s name stood out time and time again.
Living Our Values Every Day
This individual arrives at school each day with a smile on their face and kindness in their heart. They bring joy to those around them and have a wonderful way of making others feel valued, supported and appreciated.
Whatever challenges the day may bring, they approach them with optimism, compassion and grace.
They consistently demonstrate the virtues of St Joseph through their actions, showing care and consideration to everyone they meet. Whether supporting a friend, helping a younger child or offering encouragement to a member of staff, they always give their time generously and without hesitation.
A Role Model for Others
What makes this person truly special is their commitment to being the very best version of themselves. They approach every task with enthusiasm, dedication and a determination to do their best.
They lead by example, not through words alone, but through the way they treat others and the positive impact they have on the people around them.
