Reception pupils at St Joseph's Catholic Academy in Norton have been combining learning and creativity during their latest Friday baking session.
As part of their learning linked to the story Funny Bones, the children have been exploring skeletons and learning about the different bones in the human body.
Bringing Learning to Life Through Baking
To celebrate the end of their topic, pupils took part in a special baking activity, creating their very own skeleton biscuits.
The children enjoyed mixing ingredients, shaping their biscuits and decorating them with impressive skeleton designs, all while discussing the different bones they had been learning about in class.

Throughout the activity, pupils enthusiastically explained their creations to their friends and talked about what they had discovered during their learning.
